JOIN US FOR SPECIAL HOLY WEEK EVENTS:
You Are Invited to a ceremonial Seder meal on Wednesday. This symbolic meal will begin at 6 pm in Garst Hall and will last about 40 minutes. A sign-up sheet is on the office window or register on the tear off strip so the Witness team will know how many places to set. Registration deadline is TODAY. Please consider making this special event part of your Holy Week experience in preparation for Easter.
A Maundy-Thursday service will be held at 7 pm Thursday. This meaningful worship will include hand washing and communion.
Good Friday Serviceis at 7 pm Friday. Make time for this brief “Service of Darkness” with special music.
Easter Sunday begins at 6:30 am with a sunrise service here at BUMC. Worship continues at 8:15 and 10:30 with a come-and-go brunch 9:15-10:15 am in Garst Hall. The annual Easter egg hunt on the lawn follows 10:30 service.

Thank You for Sharing quilts for our narthex display. Those who shared quilts may pick theirs up after services today. Today is the last day to personalize a quilt square for the BUMC Lenten “quilt”.
Your Lenten Offering may be placed in the basket in the sanctuary or in the church office. These gifts will help build homes in Mexico.
Thank You to all who participated in the Lenten Prayer Partner program and helped with this morning’s breakfast.
BUMC Youth Are Collecting used children’s and adult books for a book sale. These may be brought to the youth room upstairs, or contact Darla Jones (364-5407) to schedule a pick up.
Children and Youth Volunteers should attend the Safe Gatherings certification meeting Sunday, April 27 following 10:30 service. Lunch is provided. For fee and additional information contact Adrienne Flemming—810-406-9013.
Easter Cards for homebound friends are provided in the narthex. Please write a personal note, and we will mail it for you.
Lawn Mowing volunteers are needed. The schedule is posted on the narthex bulletin board.

The Annual Ladies’ Salad Supper is set for Thursday, May 1 at 6 pm. Bring friend and a salad or dessert. Come enjoy an evening of fun in Garst Hall, including a light-hearted fashion show.
