March will feature a series of sermon about JOY! Wouldn't you like to have joy in your heart? Well, you can. But it takes some effort. Effort? Yes, all good things take effort. In this sermon series, Pastor Scott will suggest ways in which you can make that effort and experience more joy.

A Wild Game Feed is planned for Monday, March 16 at 6:30 pm in Garst Hall. The community is invited. Bring a side dish and friends. A raffle for a mystery meat will be held! Come for fun food and good fellowship.
‘Twas the day Before Easter is a Veggie Tales event for our community’s children on Saturday, March 29 from 9 to noon at BUMC. Children will enjoy a Veggie Tales movie, snack, and fun activities. Invite your friends!
Starting March 3, Pastor Scott will begin leading a Disciple Bible Study on Romans. The study will be held on the first and third Wednesdays of the month and will begin at 7:00 p.m. Please contact Pastor Scott if you have questions or to register for this class.
A MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)group is forming in our community. Please check out www.mops.org for more information on this international organization, or contact Heather Borden at 364-2154. All ages are welcome and necessary to implement this program effectively
Are You in Mission? On the tear-off strip, please mark if you participated on behalf of the congregation any time this past week in a ministry intended to transformpeople in your community, your region, or the world.
Our Willing Workers program matches BUMC family members needing short-term assistance with those who can help. Need help with errands, a minor repair, a tutor, yard work, etc.? Request forms are available in the church office. Do you wish to participate as a helper? Volunteer forms are also available.
The Hoover’s Thriftway receipts collection program for the elementary school has ended. Box Tops for Education and Best Choice UPC labels continue to be collected.
Prayer Blankets may be dedicated to BUMC family members/friends. To dedicate a blanket, contact the church office. To donate funds to this ministry, please mark the memo line of your payment. Please stop by the blankets in the narthex and tie a knot as you say a prayer.
