Don’t Miss Movie Night at BUMC on Saturday at 7 pm. Come enjoy fellowship and watch the movie “God’s Not Dead”. Snacks will be provided.
Trunk or Treat is 6-7:30 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 28. Get ready for games, treats, and dinner with lots of fun costumes. Invite your friends! Empty, rinsed milk carts are being collected for decorations. Plan to decorate your vehicle and hand out treats! Sign-up sheets are on the office window.
Thank You to all who supported the youth’s potato bar lunch fundraiser Friday. Footprints youth appreciate the support of the BUMC family.
The Burlington Elementary School is collecting Hoover’s Thriftway receipts and Box Tops for Education. Please save yours and deposit them in the manila envelope on the narthex bulletin board. Your receipts and box tops turn into cash for our school.
Please Join Us for fellowship in Garst Hall following 10:30 service. Refreshments are available, but our focus is on fellowship.
The Men’s Breakfast Meeting is Friday at 6 am in Garst Hall. All men are invited to share fellowship, faith, and food! Bob Culbertson’s crew is in charge of breakfast.

All Saints Sunday will be celebrated Nov. 2 at both worship services. If you have a loved one who passed away since last year’s All Saints Day and you wish to have them recognized at BUMC’s service, please complete the appropriate spot on the bulletin tear-off strip.
Veteran’s Sunday will be celebrated Nov. 9. If you are a veteran or if you have a family serving in the military, please mark the appropriate spot on the bulletin tear-off strip. Please include the address of your family member who is currently serving our country.
Are You in Mission? On the tear-off strip, please mark if you participated on behalf of the congregation any time this past week in a ministry intended to transform people in your community, your region, or the world.

CURRENT SMALL GROUP OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE: * Mondays, noon to 1:00 at the Courthouse Conference Room. This group is studying “Holy Spirit Here and Now” by Trevor Hudson. Participants are welcome to bring a sack lunch for their lunch hour if desired. * Thursdays, 10-11 am women meet in the church library to study Adam Hamilton’s “Making Sense of the Bible: Rediscovering the Power of Scripture Today.” * Sunday mornings, 9:15-10:15 am adults meet in the church library to study “Making Sense of the Bible: Rediscovering the Power of Scripture Today” by Adam Hamilton. * The first and third Wednesdays of the month “Love.Perod. When All Else Fails” by Rudy Rasmus is studied in the church library at 7 pm. * The second Friday of each month men gather for breakfast at 6 am in Garst Hall to share fellowship and faith.
