We’re Serving Lunch at the Coffey County Historical Museum Saturday. Please register to help, or to provide funds for supplies/food on the sign-up sheets on the office window. Half the proceeds will benefit our BUMC youth and half will benefit Lanny Ratzlaff’s Mexico mission trip.

The Annual Sweetheart Dinner is approaching! Plan to enjoy this youth fundraiser luncheon after 10:30 service on Feb. 8 in Garst Hall.
The Annual Prayer Partner program is being organized for Lent. Each child and youth participant is matched with an adult who promises to anonymously pray for them throughout Lent and send a weekly card to remind them of the prayers. A “revealing” breakfast is held on Palm Sunday. Children, youth, and adults should register on the office window sheets.
A Mission Statement is being developed for BUMC. Your input is needed. The current proposal is: The mission of Burlington UMC is to ignite a Christ-centered passion for being and sharing God’s love through serving and caring for others. By January 31, please jot your ideas and edits to the proposal sheets in Garst Hall.
