Love. Period. will be the focus of a new class beginning Wednesday at 7 pm in the church library. Led by Pastor Scott on the first and third Wednesday of each month, this class will study a book by Rudy Rasmus that stresses the God-designed cycle of love. See the narthex bulletin board and newsletter for more information. Please sign up on the tear-off strip. Books are $10.50 each.
Next Sunday is the Fall Kick-Off Potluck following 10:30 service. Hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, and table service will be provided. Bring a side dish to share and join the fun!
Fall Sunday School begins NEXT SUNDAY. All ages are invited to join a class for an opportunity to enjoy learning and growing together. Children ages 3-12 will learn Bible stories through theatre, music, and discussion. Questions? Contact Christ. Ed. Director Adrienne Fleming (810-406-9013).

Tickets are Available One More Week for the Sept. 20 Mystery Dinner. Invite friends to this Saturday evening event at the 4-H building. A catered meal and evening of light-hearted entertainment make this a fun outreach opportunity. See the narthex poster for details and for names of ticket sellers.
Chancel Choir Begins Wednesday! Rehearsals are Wednesdays 6-7 pm. Consider joining this group that sings at 10:30 services.
Lawn Mowers are Needed. Please sign up on the tear-off strip for a date that works for you. You may use the church’s lawn mower and trimmer.
Share Stories with Our Children in the children’s message time at 10:30 service. Please mark the tear-off strip to indicate if you are willing to do this once in a while or on a regular basis.
Are You in Mission? On the tear-off strip, please mark if you participated on behalf of the congregation any time this past week in a ministry intended to transform people in your community, your region, or the world.
Your Loose Change donation today will benefit our children’s and youth programs. The Noisy Change Offering is collected every time a month has a fifth Sunday.
